The Junction Young Ambassadors

The Junction Young Ambassadors

are a group of young people from Cambridge who assist the Junction in plans and decisions made towards making it a more youth-friendly environment. They have been running since March 2009 and someprojects before have included;

- Working withArchitecture graduates to design a new front Foyer for the Junction building and running a ‘Youth Summit’ which invited teenagers to theJunction to participate ideas to the ‘Summer Intensive programme’.

They are also holding a ‘Takeover’ event at the Junction on the 8th May2010 for the youth of Cambridge. They researched on facebook and talking to people and made a layout for the day. Their plans will be in the Junction building, and will include; soundand lighting, djing, spoken word, dance, beatboxxing, digital imagery and more.

They have created a logo for the 'Junction Takeover'...

The Junction Young Ambassadors link to my work with the Junction as both have been interaction working 'with' the Junction not 'for' the Junction. They worked with the Junction on an interaction project to make the Junction a logo.
